Many people express opinions and provide updates about themselves on social media. These postings can be mined to identify demographics and people's opinions and preferences about products and issues. We combine analysis of the postings and other media, plus associated meta data, to mine this information from the rapidly increasing amount of social media. Visualization techniques are then used to present information for easy access and understanding.
