Gene Golovchinsky's Home Page

I joined FXPAL in October of 1996 after finishing my Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (Multimedia/Usability lab of the Human Factors group) at the University of Toronto (I defended in November 1996). During my time at UofT, I also worked as a guest researcher at GMD-IPSI in Darmstadt, Germany, and as a summer intern at the IBM ISSC site in Palo Alto. Before going to Toronto, I spent a year working at the IBM Myers Corners site in Poughkeepsie in the Human Factors group. I also worked as a Systems Engineer at Kaiser Electronics in San Jose, and as a programmer/analyst and user consultant at UCLA, where I got my BS in Electrical Engineering in '87.
